Description
How you arrange and organize your preschool classroom can have a big impact on the children's safety, learning and behavior. When it is done well, the overall atmosphere in the classroom is calmer and more focused, it is easier to supervise the children, and everyone gets along better with one another. When it is done really well, the children are inspired to interact with one another and with the environment in ways that promote a higher level of meaningful learning and creativity.
Remember as we discuss various centers that they should be easily visible to the teacher, with clear open traffic patterns from one center to another. This will facilitate supervision and enable you to intervene quickly if necessary.
