This course is an overview of the mental disorders that survivors of domestic violence often present with when seeking relief at shelters. This training links the co-occurring nature of substance abuse, mental disorders, and domestic violence and identifies the associated signs. You will also learn how to engage and support survivors who may be experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues.
