Description
Human services professionals work in a field that is broadly defined and includes such areas as social work/social services, welfare and public assistance services, counseling and guidance, and related fields. At the core of the work is the objective of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base. The human services professional maintains a commitment to improving the overall quality of life for the diverse populations they serve.
Professionals in this field are often required to help clients make life-altering decisions in a work environment that may not have sufficient resources, professionals, time, support, and information to support those decisions. This course introduces the use of ethical guidelines or standards of conduct that human services professionals should consider in making ethical and professional decisions.
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
