Description
Once a training session is over, your work is far from done. Now it's time to focus on the program's success in meeting its goals and the developmental needs of the learners and the organization.
Evaluation of the program helps determine whether the training achieved its objectives, identify areas of the program that were successful and those areas that need improvement. A distinction is made between formative and summative evaluation.
The course looks at what, who, when, how, and why we evaluate training, by providing an overview of the Kirkpatrick Four Level Model for evaluation.
