Description
A code of ethics is a set of values and principles that guide the behavior of members of a profession. In early care and education, various national organizations have developed codes. This course focuses on the program director's use of the Code in practice.
Having a professional code of ethics does not necessarily guarantee a clear-cut answer to every
situation that can arise in an early care and education program. It's important for program directors to know how to use the code in addition to being familiar with its content.
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
