Every family comes with their own unique makeup and challenges. Families of children with special needs are no different. It is critical for teachers to be a source of support for families as they navigate the services and supports necessary to help children learn and grow.
This one-hour course is designed to give you insight into the unique challenges, stresses, and emotions that many families experience. During this course, you will also learn how a family's ability to adapt to change affects resilience and how you can help families and children with special needs in your classroom.
