Description
Our series on psychotropic medications for children and teens will help you recognize symptoms of the most common mental illnesses and disorders that affect teens and children. Throughout this series, you will become more familiar with some of the most common prescription treatments for these illnesses and disorders, and better understand the role of caregivers and advocates in supporting children with mental health needs.
The National Association of Social Workers, Georgia Chapter (NASW-GA) has approved the courses for 4 core continuing education clock hours for social work licensing purposes.

4 Hours of Social Services Training:- Psychotropic Medication Part I: Mental Illnesses and Disorders in Children and Teens – 2 Hours
