Our series on conducting purposeful visits will help you understand and value the practice of conducting regular and purposeful case manager visits to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children who are in out-of-home care.
This training will help you make the most of your purposeful visits with toddlers and preschoolers. By working to form relationships with children and building your interview skills, you ensure that each visit engages the child and contributes to achieving safety, permanency, and well-being.
This course focuses on developmental milestones and interview strategies for very young children, roughly ages 18 months to 6 years old. There are also courses available for elementary school children and for teens.
This course is not approved for ECE state training hours.
