Description

All child care providers who have direct responsibility for the care and oversight of children, including center administrators and family child care home operators, are required to complete health and safety trainings in the listed content areas. The trainings in this package cover the following content areas:

  • Administration of medication
  • Appropriate precautions in transporting children
  • Building and physical premises safety
  • Prevention and control of infectious diseases, including immunizations
  • Prevention of and response to emergencies due to food and allergic reactions
