- Given the benefits of high quality early care and education, identify and discuss three factors you would address in your own program to improve quality
- Given the quality initiatives presented, identify the accreditation process that would be most appropriate for your program, and discuss the types of support you believe your program would need to gain accreditation
- Discuss the approach you would use to identify resources and maintain connections and involvement to support your program's quality initiative

Description
This one-hour course will provide program directors and administrators with an overview of quality initiatives. Participants will learn about the importance of quality in child care settings, some of the best known national quality initiatives, and ways to be an advocate for quality.
