Upon completing this course, you will be able to:
- List at least two developmental milestones for speech and language skills in children at ages three, four and five.
- Describe ways that teachers can support and enhance development of speech and language in children ages three to five.
- Recognize factors or "red flags" that may interfere with a child's development of speech and language and could require referral to a specialist.

Description
This one-hour course will introduce you to speech and language development in children between the ages of three and five. You will learn milestones for normal speech and language development as well as ways teachers can support language development in children.
You will also learn about problems that can interfere with a child's normal development of speech and language and when it may be appropriate to refer to a specialist.
