This course explores the attitudes, practices and strategies necessary for both the helping professional and agencies they represent in engaging parents with Mental Health Issues (MHI).

Throughout this course, you will be presented with various terms defining MHI, engagement strategies for people with MHI, and implications for parenting effectiveness if an MHI is present. The course will explain the need for and challenges with engagement strategies with these parents experiencing MHI and will help you to apply solutions to real-life scenarios.
