Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a brain development disorder that affects many children and impacts their ability to communicate and interact with others throughout adulthood. The number of children diagnosed with ASD is growing and more and more are being diagnosed at a younger age. This course will explore the common characteristics of autism, the red flags for identification and diagnosis, common treatment and intervention options, and what you can do to support children and families.Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state.
