Description
In our society, providing for children's health, well-being and safety is the primary responsibility of the family. All parents - whether a mom, dad, grandparent raising a grandchild, or other caregiver - are facing one of life's most rewarding and challenging experiences in raising a child. And at some point, they may need a little help!
When parents are without guidance and the support needed to help them face critical challenges, care of their children can be compromised. In this course, we explore ways to help parents access resources in Georgia and provide an overview of available resources they may need to support their role as parents – a child’s first and foremost teacher.
