ABOUT KIDDIE ACADEMY UNIVERSITY

Franchisee Certificate Training Plan

Experience a new way of learning, through online courses, vendor specific KARES training, a week long, in person training program provided by presenters who are experts in their field, and one-on-one coaching by a Licensing Education Specialist. A total of 80 hours of training is required for certification. Online training consists of 16 hours of Kiddie Academy specific course work and 10 additional hours of content directly related to increasing your knowledge in early childhood education. An additional 2.5 hours of training on KARES is also provided. Courses can be taken in any order, at any time and at a pace that maximizes learning potential.

Onsite training at our Corporate Headquarters is a quintessential part of the Certificate Training Plan. Experts in Marketing, Sales, Education, Operations and Accounting expound on their area of expertise. A total of 35 hours of training, essential to achievement will be delivered. Conference Calls are scheduled monthly, bi-monthly and then weekly as the opening of the Academy approaches. The Licensing Education Specialist will provide 16 1/2 hours of one-on-one training on Academy specific licensing procedures, requirements and processes, equipping and stocking, Director selection and onboarding, timelines and licensing inspections.

Certification Documentation

For each area of training, proof of completion will be recorded on the Franchisee’s Training Plan. Upon successful completion of all components, a diploma – noting the obtainment of Certification from Kiddie Academy University will be issued.

Recertification

To ensure that a Franchisee continues to remain current in policies, procedures and educational developments, the Kiddie Academy University Graduate Certification must be renewed every 2 years. Recertification requirements include the successful completion of 6 ProSolutions Training courses each year, Kiddie Academy Conference attendance (minimum of 1 conference within the 2 year period) and verification that the current Director has attended training at our Corporate Headquarters.

Graduates will be notified 6 months prior to Certification expiration date, to allow for proof of renewal requirements to be submitted and approved.
