DFCS Prevention and Community Support works with community-based and statewide organizations to build strong families and reduce child maltreatment through collaborative partnerships, funding and promoting evidence-based programs and services.
Parenting can be difficult at times. All parents need support now and then. For resources or help in locating assistance, please call the 1-800-CHILDREN Helpline. Resources are available, online or by calling, to parents, caregivers, professionals, or others who care about the wellbeing of children.
