In this course, we are going to explore the major developmental milestones achieved during an infant's social and emotional development. Infancy is a very exciting time for development. Infancy is commonly defined as birth through 18 months. The child's developing brain makes millions of connections during this time and the result is a constantly changing, enthralling and delightful little human being!

- Identify the three different infant temperaments.
- Describe important aspects of forming attachment, including trust/mistrust and stranger/separation anxiety.
